Week 3

Dear Collin,

We have definitely seen changes in you this week. You are beginning to run on a sort of schedule. You wake about 8:00 am and are very alert for about an hour or so. Then you fall asleep waking only to eat about every 3 hours during the day. You somehow know the last feeding of the night comes around 9:00 pm and you go on a feeding frenzy and eat for about an hour. That's ok because then you sleep in 4-5 hour stretches at night, most nights only waking up once to feed. That is really spectacular for a baby not even a month old yet!!

You have had several trips out of the house at this point, and have been an angel through every single one of them. It makes me more confident to be able to get out of the house more often.

Your Dad and I made our first trip out of the house without you this week. We went up the street to a movie (The Ugly Truth) while your Grandma GG watched you. The funny part was that on our first trip out of the house our car battery died and instead of being gone for 2 hours, it ended up taking about 4. You sat tight and waited patiently for Mommy to get home to feed you.

I can tell that you are growing and getting bigger each day. You are such a perfect little boy, and your Dad and I are so lucky that you came into our lives. We love you!
