3 Months

Dear Collin,

This month has come with a lot of firsts.

You took your first road trip to Boerne and were well behaved the entire time. You started sleeping through the night this month. It was right at 11 weeks and Mommy can't tell you how happy she is to not have to get up during the night for a feeding. You are still sleeping in our room with us, but we are going to start putting you in your nursery soon. (You still need several adjustments at night and Mommy doesn't want to climb the stairs several times a night!) You love to "talk" to us...and it is the cutest thing ever. We always stop what we are doing and spend time "talking" right back to you. You laugh and smile at Mommy and Daddy making crazy baby noises. You also are able to hold your head up now. Not perfectly, but you are getting there. Your newest trick is that you like to stick everything in your mouth. Especially your hands and your bib. You always have a bib on because you are already drooling like crazy. You are still breastfeeding with the occasional formula bottle, but have at least pushed your feedings to every four or so hours during the day. You fit into 3 month clothing, and are right on track with your growth. You still love bathtime, it's probably your most active time of day. You are much more alert now and like to check out your surroundings when we are out of the house. You are getting so fun and make us smile and giggle all the time! Time seems to fly by with you around!
