5 Months

Dear Collin,

Wow, 5 months already! This has been a busy month, as seen from the lack of posts on the blog. First off, after your 4 month pedi appointment we started "sleep training". Well, your Dad really did it because when you cry it breaks my heart. I'm the super softie! Anyway, I am proud to say that you have been sleeping in your crib for 4 weeks now. Only at night as you still fight taking naps during the day, but it's progress! You had your first Thanksgiving and did really well despite all the people fighting over you. :) You started eating rice cereal this month and have grown to really like it. At first most of the cereal came right back out of your mouth, but now you swallow about 90% of it. You can roll over from back to tummy and tummy to back. You roll around on the floor when we play and you can lift your head all the way up. You can move your legs like you want to crawl, but you have no idea what to do with your arms to make you move. You roll from your back to your tummy in your crib at night and you prefer to sleep on your tummy now. Everything still goes straight into your mouth...your hands, toys, your bib, basically anything you can get your hands on. You love studying everything around you, especially people's faces. You are a drooling mess, but no teeth yet. You are still nursing and eating your cereal once a day. You are developing such a personality and your Dad and I are having so much fun with you! Love you!
