13 Months

Dear Collin,

The end of July blew right by and you turning 13 months old came up quickly! What fun we have had this past month. The big news is that you are a walker now! You are still a little unsteady at times, but oh so cute when you stumble around. You are also into copying everything that you Daddy and I do. Just this week you learned to wave bye-bye, say hello (on the phone) and to give high fives. Too cute! Your favorite thing to do right now is play outside with your water table or in your baby pool. You love to splash! You are morphing into a little boy now instead of being a baby...we ditched bottles and formula this past month. You are now onto whole milk and sippy cups. You also recently learned how to drink out of a straw. Some of your favorite "words" that you say over and over right now are "num", "dub", "na", "da" and "ba". You like to open cabinets to see what it contains. Cabinet locks are going on soon so you don't get into anything you are not supposed to. I think that this is my favorite phase so far with you. You are so curious and into everything, which keeps me exhausted, but is really fun!
